When American Turf Co. builds artificial putting greens, we know that everyone has a unique style and special requirements. That is why we listen to each client to meet their said requests and encourage them to be involved in the design process, pin placement, and contouring of each project, and the desired speed of said golf systems package. American Turf Co. does not build cookie-cutter golf greens. Our professional installers are always available to assist you in these phases of your project. American Turf Co. offers two grades of putting surfaces (Professional and Commercial Grades) to meet each individual’s needs.
American Turf Co.’s premium bent grass golf greens (Tour Play) is an extensive process (not a product) that duplicates the playability of a real golf course constructed golf green. Each of our golf greens begins with either a multi-layer gravel sub-base for superior stability, vertical and horizontal drainage or a primary sub base of crushed gravel (commonly used for residential applications) and concludes with a sophisticated integral top dressing for accurate ball response. The only thing different is rather than hybrid grass seed, we engineer a scientifically designed fiber arrangement to mimic the thickness, color and texture of country club quality bent grass.

Professional Grade
American Turf Co’s PROFESSIONAL GRADE putting greens are an award winning simulated bent grass golf system. It is the only synthetic putting green surface that has a G rating for authentic performance by the American Golf Association. This super synthetic process on steroids will hold a shot from any distance. If you can hit it, it will hold it. Tour Play professional grade golf greens will check up and release as if it were real bent grass, and offers variable speed control up too- give or take 5 points on the stimpmeter at any time. American Turf Co.’s professional grade synthetic putting greens is ideal for professional and private use for golf courses, country clubs, Arizona home owners in any climate.
Commercial Grade
American Turf Co.’s COMMERCIAL GRADE putting greens offer a highly advanced surface that meets the high demand of golf schools like Harvey Penick Golf Academy of Austin, Texas, the Golf Channel Studios and the Callaway Golf center in Las Vegas. Tour professional and avid golfers alike use this surface to practice their putting skills because of its realism, its true roll ability, and long-lasting durability. Designed for practice greens on public golf courses nationwide and is ideal for residential application. The commercial grade system will hold a 30 yard shot and offers variable speed control, a few points up or down on the stimpmeter at any time. American Turf Co.’s commercial grade synthetic putting greens is ideal for private use for the most avid golfer.
